Anantara Si Kao Resort & Spa

My dad and I came here for a short getaway while I was teaching English in Thailand. The service was phenomenal, great room with a view, delicious food too. We were really happy to be in a quiet area, although there's not much to do off the resort. Fantastic spa experience, very relaxing. The staff were extremely accomodating to our needs. Would definitely recommend I'd you're looking for a quiet relaxing getaway.

I was just passing by on the motorbike and I wanted to see how the Europeans spend their holidays. The place has nice location and high standards. On the other side, the place has prices like an expensive US or EU hotel. For the price of one drink you can sleep at very nice place somewhere else. Generally, this is great place for retired rich people who just want to burn their skin on the beach. I need to wait 40 years to be ready for this place...

Family stay Our family from Canada visited us in Thailand. So I booked 3 rooms for 8 nights here. We stayed at the front building which gave us a very nice scenery. We saw the islands from our terrace. The room and decoration was standard. There were 2 swimming pools. One would not allow kids to swim there. There were many activities such as Thai boxing, Archery, etc. Although this resort has its own private beach. Unfortunately, we couldn't swim in the sea right in front of us. It looked dirty and foamy. Maybe because it's the spot that sea water meets with the fresh water from the river. The Italian restaurant on the second floor was romantic and had good food. You would have to reserve the outdoor table in advance. You would see a nice sunset view while you were having dinner with the one you love.
