Anantara Tozeur Resort

The rooms at this resort were very beautiful and clean! The perfect backdrop to the desert!! 🙌 The pool area and landscape is well maintained, and the spa was the perfect spot for massage and relaxation. I have stayed at many places in Tunisia, and I can say that this was absolutely the best service I have ever experienced here!😁🙌 Keep up the great work!! The facilities here are fantastic, and while a couple of small things went wrong during our stay, everything was fixed quickly and without fuss… and that’s all thanks to the people. Let’s take a minute to celebrate them. Soud (I hope I’m spelling her name right) in the spa guided us through a couple’s hammam with such care and confidence that the whole experience felt like a true surrendering. The standout was Nizar, the concierge manager. His local knowledge and clear recommendations shaped our trip in the best way. On his advice, we took a Sahara tour with guide Emid and driver Akeem. Emid’s passion and insights brought the desert to life, while Akeem’s driving made the dune crossings both fun and safe. Watching the sun set over the Algerian border was unforgettable. One of my favourite moments was watching my girlfriend, usually the planner and the one in control, happily hand over the reins to Nizar, trusting his guidance completely. It said everything about the confidence and ease he inspires. Even after we’d checked out, Nizar arranged a 2 am transfer from another city so we could catch an early flight - complete with pillows - and called to check we’d arrived. We left feeling that every part of our stay had been cared for, and that our great experience was forged not just from the facility, but from the people, their passion and the connections we made.

We were looking forward to visiting this hotel, which was said to be wonderful! It really is a beautiful hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms. Access to the various areas is via small cars, which always arrive quickly. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is wonderfully well-appointed, with a wide variety of dishes for both dinner and breakfast. They set up a place to watch the sunset, which was wonderful! Unfortunately, however, the maid's cleaning service left a lot to be desired. They forgot to put on a shower cap, two bath towels and, what made us believe that cleanliness is not the strong point of this beautiful hotel, they didn't straighten the sheets on the bed!
