Anantara Veli Maldives Resort Adults Only

Great resort!!! Came here for our honeymoon. Had a really good time. Great food, awesome villas and amazing butler service. They also have house reef where you can enjoy snorkelling. You can also access Anantara Dhigu’s island as well.

We stayed at the Anantara Veli Maldives Resort for our trip to paradise, and the experience truly lived up to the name. Anantara Veli delivered a dreamlike escape every single day. Our overwater bungalow was a highlight—having the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean just steps away made it effortless to jump in for a swim anytime. The room was consistently clean and thoughtfully maintained throughout the day. There was no shortage of ways to enjoy our time: lounging by the beach, pool, or right at the villa; snorkeling in crystal-clear waters; or hopping between islands for a taste of local adventure. The food options were diverse and exciting, making it easy to avoid repetition. That said, we definitely had some favorites worth returning to—crepes from Cumin for breakfast, oysters and pizza for lunch, and Greek salad and the wrapped dates for dinner. The staff provided excellent service and were warm, engaging, and attentive throughout our stay. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be to offer quicker dining options—sometimes we just wanted a fast bite rather than a full sit-down experience. Overall, 5/5—would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway.

Shunnan, he is a photographer but he helped us with the reception task when we were lost and lost our room card. Very polite, knowledgable person knows about the resort recommended for us what to do. People like Shunnan is a gift to any place. He also welcomed us in lounge to have coffee and relax.
