Anavana Beach Resort

The resort is peaceful, with individual Thai-style villas surrounded by lush greenery. The beach is beautiful and clean. The restaurant offers a fire show on Monday nights and traditional Thai dance performances on Saturday nights. We were very impressed and must commend the staff for their excellent service.

This is a wonderful place to stay for a quiet and relaxing getaway on Koh Samui. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious for two people, located in an incredibly lush and beautiful garden. The hotel has direct access to the beach which is beautiful and clean, in the quiet end of the beach. The swimming pool area is also lovely. We had lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant several days and everything we tried was delicious. We decided to have breakfast at a nearby café which offers great variation if you're craving barista coffee. You can also find a juice bar and 7/11 just outside the hotel. There is a small fitness room that has some cardio machines and weights, looks slightly updated from the pictures. Cleaning was spotless and overall service amazing. The staff are all lovely and make you feel so welcome. I'd highly recommend this place and would easily come back!

Service is very bad. Asked if I could use the beach bar and beach access. Sat by the bar, none takes order. Then ordered myyself. Sat on a sunbed (at least 30 were empty 90% of all sunbeds). Ordered drink. Received. Paid. After 10 minutes someone comes with poor manners and English asking to move away since the sunbeds are reserved to the tenants. 1. Why did the receptionist didn't tell me that first 2. 90% of sunbeds are empty - poor manners and service.
