Review for Anchor Suites, Oia I had the pleasure of staying at Anchor Suites in Oia, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel like we were at home. A special shout-out goes to Tólis, the receptionist, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He went above and beyond to help us with any requests and provided amazing recommendations for things to do and see around Santorini. His warmth and dedication made our stay even more memorable, and we felt well taken care of throughout our time there. One of the best things about Anchor Suites is its location. The hotel is just 2km away from the heart of Oia, which is easily walkable in about 15-20 minutes. This distance is perfect because it keeps you away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, offering you a peaceful retreat while still being close enough to enjoy Oia's stunning views, restaurants, and shops. It’s the ideal balance of tranquility and convenience. Staying here also allows you to avoid the extortionate prices of Oia while still enjoying the exact same amenities, so you’re getting great value without compromising on quality. For those who don’t want to walk, there’s a bus stop directly outside the hotel, and for just €2, you can catch a bus to Oia or other nearby areas. The buses are more like coaches – comfortable, clean, and frequent – so getting around was never a hassle. It’s about a 20-minute bus ride to Fira, and the scenic Oia to Fira walk, which offers breathtaking views, starts right outside the hotel. So if you're up for a bit of adventure, that walk is an absolute must. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, providing a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring. The cleaning staff also deserves a mention—they did an exceptional job keeping our room spotless, and it was always a pleasure to return to a fresh, tidy space each day. Another highlight was the breakfast, which was served on our terrace every morning. While the breakfast is very standard, it’s the perfect way to start the day – fresh and simple, with just the right amount to fuel you for a day of adventure. The pool area was also a standout. It’s a serene spot to relax, with a lovely bar right beside it offering refreshing drinks. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or taking in the views of the surrounding area, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Additionally, the hotel went above and beyond by organizing our transfer to the port, which was a huge convenience and made our departure stress-free. Overall, Anchor Suites in Oia offers a wonderful combination of great service, peaceful surroundings, and comfort. Thanks to Tólis and the rest of the team, our stay was truly exceptional. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Santorini, especially if you want to enjoy Oia’s beauty without the inflated prices!

One of the best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff is very kind and caring, the room is spacious, and the breakfast is delivered to your room. The pool is very nice, with a great view, it really is a great experience. Oia is a light 20 min walk from the Hotel. I would 100% visit this place again.
