Absolutely loved staying here. Such a beautiful historic place with the most wonderful staff. Everything was perfect, the food, the rooms, and the atmosphere. Will definitely be going back. Thank you. Oh and I need a special shout out to the chef. Everything was amazing! Incredible food.

So glad we chose the Anchorage for our stay in beautiful Beaufort! Everything about this venerable stately Inn is top-notch! The staff are so kind and helpful. The made-to-order breakfasts are scrumptious. The owners, Amy and Frank, are hands on and clearly invested in their guests' comfort. The porches overlooking the Bay are not to be missed. And perhaps best of all is the experience of dining at the Ribaut Social Club! They were serving small plates the night of our reservation, and the flavors were outstanding. Best Burrata Salad ever and the crabcakes were so, so good. The Inn is so close to downtown Beaufort and all its charms. Can't wait to return!

We really liked the location of hotel in proximity to down town. The bed was super comfy and sheet soft, but the towels were not soft and thought for a boutique hotel they would have been. In addition to the that, we had a cracked make up mirror that wasn’t secured to the wall and ceiling had dry wall repairs unfinished. Also there was a stain on the carpet that was removed after we brought to their attention. We had a little visit from a critter that wasn’t removed from floor after cleaning crew came. However breakfast was absolutly amazing! We have stayed in many boutique hotels and for the price paid, we feel that more attention to detail in terms of the rooms appearance needs attention. Mary Larkin and the rest rest of the staff couldn’t have been nicer.
