We stayed here for 4 nights. It is a beautiful hotel right on a canal with very attentive staff. It is within walking distance of many of the attractions of the city. The tram is also just a couple blocks away if walking is not your thing. Restaurant has a great breakfast and the wait staff is on the ball.

Beautiful small boutique style hotel!! Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room is not perfect... would not go below 65°F (18.5°C), and when you have a lovely canal view with a full glass wall -you need an a/c that can go lower; otherwise, it will be hot until the sun sets past 11pm. The shower drain was noisy (it constantly had air moving through it, when not in use); if you're a light sleeper, the noise will keep you up at night. Otherwise, you're fine. The rooms were very modern, pretty and chic. They had an excellent coffee maker, a great hair dryer that was not attached to the wall, nor did you have to keep a button down for it to work ...loved that, bravo! Drinking water was included daily (sparkling and/or flat) which is a SUPER PLUS for me - since I do like to drink a lot of water (sodas and beers too, but not my drift) Bravo again!! They had an annoying night light by the entrance -I'm guessing maybe for safety reasons- the light would shine right into my face when laying in bed... had to put my bag on the floor to cover it. Loved that they had a closed closet with enough room to hang clothes, plus drawers, and room for luggage below. Also, I loved that they had an ironing board with iron inside the closet, so I didn't have to call for it. Towels were on the thin side, but at least they had bathrobes. Of course, they also had a safety box. The bar in the lobby was super chic, with great cocktails, good food, and beautiful canal views. They offered canal trips with a private service for guest, (at an extra fee to be expected) right in front of the hotel. Skip -yes, his real name - the skipper was funny and would take you through smaller canals that the larger commercial boat companies can't go through.

A great spot!! We were impressed with the contemporary style of the property. The room is well appointed, yet lacked some of the niceties we were used to such as a cozy mattress! The interior viewing room, called the Atrium view looks out into the interior bar area just like the old Holiday Inns of yesteryear! The location is primo and the food in the bar was excellent! The breakfast spot was good as well. However, be aware, if you get a refill of coffee they charge you for each tiny little bit they poor in your cup! The room did have an interesting sink, where it is in the middle of the room and the mirror was not in front of the sink! Making for a messy beard trim! Cool vibe though! We did struggle a bit with coordinating transports etc with the hotel and they were delayed in checking us in, despite having a hard fast time of 3:00Pm for their check in time. In the end though, everyone was very helpful.
