Beautiful, spacious resort with perfect Sanur beach location We had an amazing stay at Andaz Bali by Hyatt—a fairly new resort that beautifully captures the Bali village atmosphere while still feeling spacious, luxurious, and uncrowded. The layout is very well thought out, with lush greenery and traditional design elements throughout. We stayed in an Andaz Suite with Lagoon Pool access, which was perfect for our family. The room was large and well-appointed, and our kids (11 & 14) especially loved being able to jump straight into the pool from our terrace. The terrace itself was a peaceful spot to relax both mornings and evenings. The main restaurant in the center of the resort was excellent—we had breakfast there daily and also enjoyed a delicious dinner. We also had a great lunch at the beach restaurant, which offered both a relaxed atmosphere and good food. The staff were always friendly and helpful, enhancing the whole experience. The infinity pool by the beach is a highlight, allowing guests to easily switch between a swim in the ocean and a refreshing dip in the pool. The beach here is arguably the best in Sanur, with soft white sand and free sunbeds both by the pool and on the beach. One small note: There are only a few rooms with direct ocean views, but that didn’t bother us at all. The overall design and experience more than made up for it. Highly recommended for couples and families alike looking for a relaxing and upscale beach getaway in Bali.

Andaz Bali is barely 4 years old. Modern in design and concept. It has a chill atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Service is excellent. Friendly and welcoming. Very secure. There’s the feeling of being in a village that caters to your needs. Breakfast is served with an all you can eat menu… food is cooked to order. How nice that it’s not a mad buffet! Great place for a family with young children, romantic getaways or a retreat.

Just finished 3-night stay and these are my most impactful impressions: Very peaceful at first, then you realize the throngs of children - loud - including two times at the Quiet Pool (my room was ground level, pool access to Quiet Pool). While this is mostly a lousy parenting thing, Andaz Bali could enforce it better - but that would NEVER happen due to way more circumstances to list. The room was nice. Very nice, Great WC/toilet (you'll see). Sort of plain/peaceful, large, and a nice Balinese feel. Lovely shower. Bathtub welcomed too. The single best hotel breakfast that could possibly exist on Planet Earth. The buffet as a-la-carte concept is it - the selection and quality borders heavenly. One of the more disappointing dinner experiences though. They ran out of lots of menu choices early. Last night we had zero seafood or menu specialty items - told because it late, but it was 8:50 pm when we ordered. Food, Blue Oven and Wok Wok good, not great. Top-notch service, of course. Then again, it's Bali. While I did enjoy the layout, location, and vibe a lot, not sure I'd stay again considering price vs. similar properties nearby.
