Loved staying here. When you check in they give you a delicious glass of wine. The hotel is beautiful. They have a breakfast area. They don't have other amenities like other hotels so don't come here expecting that. Andaz is in the center of downtown so you can walk around and wine taste or eat at all the delicious restaurants around. I enjoyed my stay there.
First time staying in Downtown Napa and at the Andaz, we loved it! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are super comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. From the valet and front desk team to the bartender at the Mercantile and the breakfast servers—every single staff member was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely special. Although we had a short wait for our room due to a late check-out by previous guests, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of during that time. The only small thing worth mentioning is that there was no body lotion provided in the bathroom, which felt a bit surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Everything else was amazing and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
There’s a lot to like about this hotel. It’s stylish and attractive, and when you check in they give you a welcome glass of wine and a complementary refillable water bottle. The location is good and there’s complementary parking in the public garage behind the property. Rooms are spacious. That said, it was very hard to get a good night of sleep here. The pillows are AWFUL (and we called housekeeping to ask for some different options, but they were all basically the same). If you have a room that overlooks the second floor bar, it’s LOUD. The bar is supposed to close at 9 but it still doesn’t get quiet for a while. And then the A/C unit in the room comes on like every two minutes and is also loud. Bottom line, if you must stay here, bring earplugs. And your own pillow. Also, another weird thing is that there’s no lotion in the bathroom. This is the first time I’ve ever stayed in a hotel that didn’t provide lotion. We had to go to CVS and buy some.
