Andrea Doria Hotel

I wanted to break up the tiresome ride from Trapani to Noto with a stop; my travel agent booked us in the Andrea Doria. Why not...sea views, clean rooms, Sicily class breakfast, quaint and clean little town, all reasonably priced. We unwittingly brought unexpected problems with us, and Ivan, the manager, and Michael, the assistant manager, worked tirelessly to give us great solution options and comforting assurances. The work they did was what you'd be lucky to get from a supportive family, not the staff of a hotel in which you're spending one night. And then, the next day, sea views, clean and sweet town, clean rooms, a great breakfast with homemade cake and lots of other terrific breakfast items, saying "goodbye" to our modest hero who says he was "only doing his job."

We were staying in Ragusa and saw that there was UNESCO Raparian/Riverine woodland nature preserve just 1km from this hotel. From the minute we booked, Ivan the general manager, reached out to make sure our stay was excellent. The suite was comfortable, clean and spacious and the breakfast was tasty and packed with homemade Sicilian treats. During my visit to the reserve, I identified 26 migratory species, notably, singing Nightingale. Thanks again to the staff at Hotel Andrea Doria for their generous hospitality!

We were a group of 18 people staying at this hotel. It was low season, but the director Ivan made sure we were comfortable and offered us impeccable service. We communicated very well with him, before and during our stay. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. A nice view from the balcony onto the Marina di Ragusa beach. Will certainly visit again in the next couple of months.
