Anelia Resort & Spa

From when we arrived the staff were fantastic. Food tastes beautiful but lots of Curry which got repetitive after a while. Pools are not heated but soon felt warm when you've been in for a while. Spa facilities are great as I had a massage and facial. Had a birthday cake left in my room for my birthday which was a lovely surprise. The beach was great to watch the stunning Mauritian sunsets. Definitely would come back again. Please note the picture and video of the room was taken on check out. Room was clean when we arrived and minibar included on the all inclusive.

The staff were wonderful, super friendly, always welcoming, and went out of their way to help with anything. We travelled with our 7-month-old baby, and they were lovely with him. Every morning they greeted him by name, played with him at breakfast, and always brought over a highchair for our table. Always accomodating and warm. On our last day, while waiting for a late flight, they gave us late checkout for convenience with our baby. The staff alone made the stay an amazing experience, added with the location and facilities, made a near on perfect vacation.

The resort is located on the edge of a small village.The beach is quite long, but you can only enter the sea for about 20 meters, everything else is volcanic rocks.The sand is strewn with very sharp corals and is not comfortable for walking. The water is clear and warm.During the time we were there, there was only entertainment on two evenings, the rest of the evenings were karaoke, which I didn't like at all.The food and service left a lot to be desired, there wasn't enough variety.
