Anemomylos Windmill

We loved our stay at the Windmill. When we arrived both Mary and Madgalina greeted us, walking through all the amenities and property, then sat with us providing maps and great recommendations. The property is so peaceful with beautiful views of the sea and town below. We loved relaxing and enjoying. The fridge was fully stocked. Complimentary wine, water, juice, coffee, milk, local cheeses, meats, tomatoes, melon, oranges, jams, honey, pastries, bread,. We were able to make breakfast and pack a cooler to take to the beach for light lunch. We walked around Ano syros enjoying drinks and a great dinner. They also helped us secure a car rental which was brought up to the windmill for us. So helpful. Waking up in the windmill with fresh breezes and a window looking out to the sea was so charming and delightful. This was such a unique and incredible stay for us on our two week trip. Syros is a great locals island and staying at the windmill brought us such happiness

This place is special. Mother and daughter team have thought of everything. I thought of one thing they didn’t have (some reading books), but later discovered the small nook next to the bed, of course, with a little collection. I left one and took one. Everything is truly perfectly arranged and thought out. And Magdalini was available to immediately answer any question or request on WhatsApp at any hour. We took many of their suggestions and they were spot on! We left feeling well cared for hoping we can come back next year to see our new friends. Dont hesitate, book with confidence.

Mary is the best!! There were 4 of us, and she went out of her way to make this trip unforgettable. It is a small space, but that's part of the charm. I never imagined a place like this, but I'm so glad we ended up here. We could have gone to one of the typical islands that tourists visit, but we wanted an authentic local experience. And without question, this was one of the biggest surprises we had while traveling. The charm of of this windmill, and how well it has been remodeled is awesome. If you want a nice, quiet experience that's walking distance to a local cafe (Cafe o Vornas) I suggest looking into this windmill, and giving it serious thought. Again, Mary helped with everything, and she pretty much saved our trip. This was a last minute suggestion, and it was beyond awesome.
