ANEW Hotel Hilton Pietermaritzburg

I attended a week-long conference at this hotel. I didn’t stay in a room though. It’s was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is pretty and feels well kept. Meals were delicious and there were good vegetarian and gluten free options.

5 stars. If there were more stars available I would rate 10. I recently visited at Anew Hotel Hilton while attending a conference for 3 days and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The hotel truly lives up to peak accommodation standards. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully furnished, offering a perfect balance of comfort and style. The amenities provided exceeded expectations, and everything was maintained to a very high standard. As I walked outside and into the garden area I was taken aback by the presence of a modern layout with green touches of nature. The seating area near the pool was perhaps one of the most noteworthy aspects of outside dining. Fire places are located all around the main reception area and that provides an extra spark of warmth and welcome to the hotel. The conference facilities were excellent — well-equipped, modern, and supported by helpful staff throughout the event. The location is ideal too, offering easy access to the main routes while still feeling peaceful and scenic. Dining at the hotel was also a highlight; the food was delicious, and the variety catered well to different preferences. Lunch was a buffet and catered to all faiths and tummies. Overall, Anew Hotel Hilton delivers a premium guest experience and is a top choice for both business and leisure stays in the area. They do have a service that patrons can register for and claim various benefits such as discounts and extended check in/out times. Highly recommended for the travellers who want to turn a booking into an experience.

Service is not good but the room was nice and food was amazing. But expect to fend for yourself for the most part, especially in the restaurant. It's best to go to meals in the dining room as they open otherwise you may not find a place to sit. You will also be carrying your luggage up and down stairs, there's no lift or assistance. The hot water came and went during my shower.
