I spent a week at this hotel during a golf vacation and had a wonderful experience, especially as a vegan traveler. Before my stay, I contacted the hotel to ask about vegan options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they assured me it would be no problem. They truly delivered! Each morning, I enjoyed vegan yogurt and cheese for breakfast, and for lunch, I was provided with delicious bread rolls filled with hummus or vegan cheese. The highlight, however, was the elaborate three-course vegan dinner served every night—my favorite dish was the smoked tofu with filling. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Thorsten, who spoke English very well and made sure I felt welcome. The young man with the beard at reception was also particularly accommodating. A couple of suggestions for improvement: While the hotel’s website is available in several languages, most of the staff have limited English skills, which made some communication challenging. It would be great if language training could be provided. Additionally, the air conditioning struggled to keep up with the outside heat during my stay, and I would have appreciated more pillow options, as the standard pillow was a bit too large for my preference. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Thank you to the team for making my vegan dining experience so enjoyable!

Room was not what I requested. Had a bed upstairs. Spiral staircase. It was hot upstairs. They said they only had one room that looked like the one I booked with only one level and large bed. Did not try to satisfy the customer, only that I was wrong and not rooms like I ordered available. The woman managing the breakfast was awesome and does a great job. The restaurant food was great.

Beautiful hotel in a golf course. Great trekking opportunities, calm, silent, peaceful setting. Great views from room. Well presented tasty food. 5 stars up to here. But 1 star for service! Seems like all staff have agreed not to speak any language other than German. You speak in English, you get the reply in German. They do not turn on the airconditioning in rooms. Instead they close all windows and blackout curtains to keep the room "cool". Especially rooms facing West get very warm in the afternoon no matter what they do. Breakfast buffet kept on getting smaller and smaller as guests checked out. Hotel's restaurant and bar obviously understaffed. Long waiting times. No one to help you with your luggage during check in or out. All in all, nice property in a gorgeous location, but poorly managed.
