This was my first time staying at Angleterre Hotel, and I was there for business. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel. The location is excellent, close to all activities. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and equipped with good amenities. The operations team, the housekeeping team, the concierge team, and the F&B team went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I will definitely choose The Angleterre Hotel again the next time I'm in Saint Petersburg.
Rooms can be considered to be somewhat dated but it adds to the classical feel that this hotel has and is evidently shooting for. It’s an excellent setting considering the great location (right in front of Saint Isaac’s cathedral). I have no complaints about my stay here and I would recommend it to anyone who can afford it.
Excellent hotel, quiet, comfortable, excellent service, bedroom view on St Isaac cathedral is really great and central location very convenient. Very good breakfast with good coffee! Just a minor remark, scrambled eggs and bacon were not warm enough. What to say about the excellent strawberry cake left in the room by the hotel for my wife's birthday: very much appreciated gesture!! I recommend without any restrictions
