Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay

Our room, food, and service were all excellent! We loved every minute of our stay, especially the private bathtub and pool on our balcony. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both exceptional. The gym was great. We want to thank Xenia for taking care of us during our stay. She went above and beyond making sure we had a VIP experience.

Nice hotel and beautiful surroundings. Fell short of 5* as WiFi wasn't great connection in our room, also some of the toiletries had run out when we checked in. Conditioner bottle was empty. The separate bathroom sink plunger was broken.

The hotel is good but you can’t expect it’s up to a global standard (banyan tree? What a joke), esp the service part, partially due to lost in translation among English, Cantonese and Mandarin, we booked one duplex and two other rooms - the staff has been smoking in pool bar (refer to the photo) while the pool bar is not in business and there are many kids playing in the water - the hotel has multiple versions about whether the spa coupon is included - weird smell in the bathroom - early check in of the duplex has become late check in, after waiting for 2.5 hours since 12:30pm - the Thai food place is not impressive but the price is triple of the price in Zhuhai city Having said that, the room service staff has been very helpful to assist us on the requests of additional towels and special cleaning after we used our private pool
