Highly recommend Anis Hotel! We had such a wonderful stay. The design is unique and beautiful, and the staff are always smiling and eager to help. The location is perfect—close to restaurants, taverns, and shopping. The rooftop pool is fantastic, and the food up there is just as good. Breakfast was extraordinary—one of the best I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely be coming back. The staff mentioned that Hilton is buying the hotel, and I truly hope they preserve the charm and uniqueness that make this place so special
The Annis Aluma Hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at in Athens. It's a luxurious boutique hotel located in a fantastic area in the southern part of the city, where you'll find countless shops offering a wide variety of spices and wholesale goods and few minutes walking from Monastriaki square. The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant and thoughtfully designed interiors. It features a stylish bar and a delicious breakfast. We stayed in a larger room, which we had booked in advance. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always eager to assist with anything. They consistently check in to see if you need anything, and there is also a security guard at the entrance, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. I especially loved the thoughtful touch of the bed headboard alternative—two large, plush pillows serving as a comfortable backrest. Breakfast was excellent, offering a great selection of cheeses, olives, and various Greek quiches. The coffee was freshly made to order, exactly how you like it, and they even served freshly squeezed orange juice alongside delicious breads. Highly recommended!
Disappointing for the price The room was incredibly small — there was barely space to open a suitcase. The bathroom was also tiny, and every shower left the entire floor wet. The only real highlight was the friendly bar staff at the pool, and the breakfast, which was actually very good. Location-wise, it’s okay — about an 8-minute walk to the more lively areas. But if you’re traveling solo or in a group of girls, it doesn’t feel very safe walking back late at night. Don’t expect early check-in — it’s not allowed at all. Also, you can’t bring any food or drinks to the pool or rooftop, which was frustrating since we brought our own snacks and weren’t allowed to use them. You’re required to order everything from the hotel. The pool is tiny and shallow — really only suitable for sitting, not swimming.
