Luis’s place is a gem! Spacious 2 bedroom apartment in a very nice area about 15 minutes driving to Porto and half of that to cais de Gaia which is a very cool spot. Tha apartment has all kitchen appliances you might need. Free parking nearby. Luis is a great host, very friendly and attentive. 10/10

Luis very attentive as a host! We stayed at Liuzinho House. We did contactless check-in, very easy with a code that he gave us himself before arriving. The accommodation is as advertised in the photos. It is a ground floor, with large spaces and a very small rear terrace. The 2 rooms face this area, which helps to hear the noise of cars passing by a little less. Comfortable beds, clean, tidy and with just enough to spend a few days. Near the apartment there is a cafe and restaurant. From the apartment to the center of Gaia it takes 15 minutes to walk and 20 minutes to the port winery area. Near the same apartment (on the back street) there are bus stops that connect with the center of Porto. You can park nearby. A 5-minute drive away there is a shopping center and several large shopping areas. A couple of things that we did notice and mention to Luis, in case they help improve: there was little toilet paper when we arrived (knowing that our stay would be 5 days), there was no kitchen paper, very few small dessert spoons, in the bathroom they could put some hangers to hang the towels because there was no place to leave them hanging, there was a lot of humidity in the environment (a dehumidifier would be good in winter - rainy days because it gets heavy and it shows), put a mat or doormat at the entrance with an umbrella stand because on days when it rains you come in and with wet shoes and umbrellas they get stains and wet the entire floor (we had a couple of rainy days), as a detail maybe having a little oil, salt, sugar and even a capsule for the coffee maker that the apartment has for those of us who spend a few days and use the kitchen a minimum for breakfasts and/or dinners 😉. This apartment is a good option to enjoy a few days in Porto knowing that you are not in the center but well connected by public transport.
