Ankara Alegria Business Hotel

Alegria hotel is an excellent choice when visiting Ankara. The hotel has very nice rooms and a big choice of facilities incl. spa, gym, meeting rooms for every purpose, restaurant and bars. However, the one thing that made my stay very convenient and made an impression was the professional attitude and very helpful service of the staff of the hotel, especially the ladies at the reception, who provided all the necessary assistance. Keep up the excellent service!

Very good hotel, comfortable and cosy rooms, great sauna with nice pool, it’s open until 11 p.m. (10:45) and that’s great! Gym is not really equipped buy it’s ok, breakfast is good, open wifi throughout the hotel, but parking is the issue. Rooftop bar and restaurant was closed when we were staying, but view is fantastic. Lobby is spacious and quiet. Hotel has rooms for smokers and for non-smokers. Algeria Business Hotel is located next to the shopping mall, which is open until 10 pm.

The only good thing about the breakfast was the tea; all other items, such as vegetables, cheese, and salami, were not fresh. The rooms did not have an iron, so I asked the reception for one. Their response was that they don’t provide irons but offer an ironing service instead. However, they failed to mention that this service costs an additional 1,400 TL, and it only covers ironing without washing. I requested an invoice during my stay, but it never arrived. We stayed at the hotel for New Year’s, but to our disappointment, there was no New Year’s celebration. On a positive note, the spa was good.
