Ankara Royal Hotel

Greetings and good wishes from sunny South Africa. My family and I had the most pleasant stay at Royal Ankara Hotel on May 9, 2025. The exceptional service, and the friendly staff made it a wonderful experience. The attached photo was taken on the morning of May 10, 2025 prior to our tour group's departure for Cappadocia. She is an employee of Royal Ankara and willingly consented to having her photo taken with me on our exit. She is of an extremely friendly personality; her warm smile, friendly disposition, and helpful nature make her an invaluable asset to the Royal Ankara Hotel team. It is my wish that she continues to serve her employer with dedication and that her sincerity to her vocation does not go unrewarded. May greater heights beckon. With best wishes Mags Moodley

Often I don’t leave a bad review for things,but this one!!!! I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the first our mini bar doesn’t work! We even didn’t have cool water! I asked receptionist to fix it, they changed the mini bar 3times that took our time, the second bad point: the size of room! Was too small but it’s ok, the bathroom!!! You can’t even take a normal shower without touching the wall!!! And also it was too smelly, the third bad point: they pick up your breakfast while you're still eating and he wasn’t kind! Even they didn’t have a smile when we were checking out!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!! I usually do not leave review, but this time I really had to. During our visit to Ankara we actually wanted to stay at this hotel for three nights. On the first night at this hotel we literally couldn’t sleep till 2.00 in the morning. First the mattress was so bad that it sinked like almost touching the bottom of the bed. The room smelled bleach we had leave the window open. The worst of all at one o’clock at night there was a drunken woman at another room who she yelled and moaned for at least couple hours. Apparently she was getting banged by a couple other guys. I called the reception two times but no answer.
