We had a one bedroom apartment in “The Ark” and it was dreamy. The farm has an organic hippie vibe that is very relaxing and our lodging had state of the art appliances and comfort, what a great combo! Stefan is a sweet host. So close to the city’ humdrum yet so peaceful.

Beautiful farm in Durbanville. They had a beautiful organic garden you could walk through. You can buy these fresh organic fruits and vegetables in their shop at crazy good prices. Off the side is a studio you can paint pottery. We might try that next time. They are closed on a Saturday, and on Sundays they serve a lunch buffet at R180 per person. We had breakfast and it was fresh and delicious with excellent service. The only negative is the gravel road with many potholes on your way to the farmhouse. We will be back

I was really disappointed by how dirty everything was. The bins near where you sit to eat were overflowing with trash, the smell of chicken manure was overwhelming, and there was a strong urine odor everywhere. The cutlery we were given had spider webs on it, and the plate was covered in dust. How can you offer something like that to customers? I was so disgusted that I couldn't even eat my food. I’d recommend visiting for the animals, but that’s about it. As for the restaurant, never ever again. I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like behind closed doors. This was really dissapointing.... I do understand its a farm, but there are better ways...
