Anniversary Inn 5th South

This was our first stay and I love it! It's not your typical hotel; we were expected to use the stairs, we didn't have maid service, and we ran out of body soap. In my opinion this adds to the romantic atmosphere. There was free bottled water and Martinellis, fresh baked cookies in the lobby, and free DVDs to borrow. The themed room we had was a lot of fun, clean, and enjoyable. The hotel is nestled on a very quiet street but is local to attractions throughout Salt Lake and the surrounding area.

This is my 3rd time staying at the anniversary inn (1st time at this location) and every time has been such a great experience. The staff is always so nice and helpful. The theme rooms are something I recommend everyone experience at least once. This time I stayed in the pirate themed room and the fun nautical details made it so fun. The rooms have DVD players and I always bring some favorites to enjoy (the hotel has a decent selection of movies you can borrow too!) Sparkling cider waiting in your room and the breakfast brought to you in the morning really make it a relaxing romantic getaway.

As I wait for my very last breakfast here I want to reflect on the hospitality of one specific person; Eider. He was excellent in his hospitality and managing the front desk. Respectful stood out from his professionalism and whether something in us sparked sight of it. He was exceptional that he cared about his job and the happy couples that stay. Thank you for a wonderful lovely stay!
