Anniversary Inn South Temple

This place is amazing! Such a special place to go to be with the one you love! The rooms are amazing the house is so unique and absolutely beautiful! The inside and outside are just beautiful! The woman who was there checking us in sucked! I asked her about the house, I just asked how old the house is and she told me to take out my camera and take a picture of the plaque that's there and to zoom in on the picture later and read it.... I was like wow, you work here and you don't feel like answering the most basic questions! The breakfast was okay at best... My husband ordered the ham and cheese croissant and it was just bread. There was barely any ham or cheese on it. But other than that it is just a beautiful house! Our room was the mystery of Egypt and it was fabulous! The bathtub is awesome! We had so much fun and just enjoyed ourselves!

This place was nice to stay at but had many, many flaws. Starting with the room, we stayed at the sultans palace, which had a nice feel to it, the room was painted fun and had that palace feel to it. But the room was very outdated, the tv was very old and the speakers kept crackling anytime we watched a movie in it. There is no shower head in the room, just the tub which I was not expecting. The tub also had weird brown stains in it that we tried to wipe but it was stained on there, little gross. Overall the room wasn’t bad, but should be updated for the price you are paying. The worst experience was the breakfast, we got in late our first night and the front desk was already closed down, they told me to fill out a form and leave it to get breakfast the next day. We filled it out for 11-11:30am to get sent to our room. 11:45 and we haven’t gotten anything, I go down to the front desk and no one was there. I had to find a cleaning lady to then ask someone to get our breakfast. They gave us a dumb excuse that everyone was getting breakfast late today. Eventually we got it but they switched what we had ordered because they were out of the certain food items. Later that day I went to the front desk to get our breakfast ordered for the next morning, filled out to get it from 8:30-9am. Next morning and it was 9:30am and I still hadn’t received anything. I go to the front desk to find 4 other people down there already with no one at the front desk. One couple was trying to check out and another couple also didn’t receive their breakfast. Someone eventually came to the front desk and said that the people who make the breakfast didn’t show up. Wasn’t a very good experience for breakfast and the room was outdated, so the $400 for 2 night was a bit much for the quality I was expecting.

We have stayed at the Anniversary Inn on 5th south many times and loved it. We thought we would switch it up and stay on south temple this time. We were so disappointed! The room was ok. Some slats in the ceiling were coming off and there was no soap in the bathroom. We had to go ask for hand soap and they wanted to argue with us that “there has to be some in the room already” Why would we lie about soap! We were ready to order pizza for dinner. Called 0 and they said they didn’t have any that night. So we left to go out to eat. When we came back we were excited to order the movie night package, but same thing. They didn’t have any popcorn. Why advertise it if you don’t have it. We filled out the breakfast card and really wanted to sleep in, so we chose 9:00-9:30. We heard the knock on our door a little after 8:00. We had no choice but to get up and eat so the mediocre breakfast wouldn’t get colder. Over all, not good! We will not be going back to this location ever!
