Ansara Hotel

Cons: Ceiling looks to have water leak and paint was peeling. Stains on walls. Shower door broken or missing entirely (booked two rooms, one had a door and one had none). Bathroom smelled of sulfur or pee. Tv worked but no channels. Pool had too much chlorine or something, kids said it tasted like poison and their bodies burned when they got out. Breakfast was good when we first got there but then just bread and eggs Pros: Across the street from seafood vendors. View of river. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast of just eggs, toast, fruit and coffee is ok. For the price, you can stay elsewhere on the same street in a better place.

Uncomfortable bed in large sized neglected room with lovely little balcony and view over the busy road to the Mekong river. Bathroom had leaking toilet and broken towel rails. People used to international hotel standards should probably choose a more modern alternative

In the first moment, the Hotel looks good. But that's it. The Room to the Riverside had a nice view. But there are a lot of Restaurants and Bars in Front of the Hotel that promise you not to sleep before 1 a clock a.m. . The Air-condition is the loudest I ever had. There is no chance to sleep with it. Broken wood on the Balcony, broken shower cabin, not functioning Lights in the Room, uninterested stuff and an empty Breakfast Buffet at 09 a. m. shows, that this Hotel gave up. Absolutely no Recommendation.
