I stayed at the Antaris for 5 nights as I was attending an international event at the Cintermex complex on the other side of the road and this was the official congress hotel. On the good side, location of the hotel is perfect for Cintermex events and the room I got was quite clean. On the bad side: shower had very low water pressure and there was no hot water, lukewarm at best. My room card stopped working 2 times while I was there. Staff was kind but no one spoke english except for one or two people at reception.

My fiancée and I planned this trip to ask for my hand in marriage. We thought we were set for with the hotel since it was well displayed on Expedia. To our dismay it turned out to be not a nice hotel at all. When I checked in the guy in front desk didn’t even turned the music down on his phone or computer until he couldn’t hear me. Room was not clean since there’s we’re hairs all over the floor and feces on the toilet lid. AC was not working in either one of the rooms they switch us to until the 3rd one. Front desk didn’t care and maintenance after I complained and lied about sending someone. If it wasn’t for the maintenance guys who kindly helped us, I don’t know what we have done….

Terrible Experience – Misleading Pictures & Unwelcoming Staff This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had in over 35 years of travel. The pictures online made the place look luxurious and modern from the outside, but once you step inside, it’s a completely different story. The rooms are extremely basic — no water, no fridge, no toothbrush, not even the basic amenities you’d expect. It’s just four walls and a bed.,no tissues or napkins.Old used towels which is health conscious.Poor internet service.Took shower and water came out of the room from the shower.I have attached the pictures to show how water was coming out of the walkway. We were told that breakfast was included (even shown online), but when we asked at the front desk, they said breakfast was only available between 7 AM–2 PM, and then they charged us 300 paisa anyway — even during those hours. Total bait and switch. We didn’t argue as we feel they don’t care all just looking to make money. The staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful, especially toward foreigners. It felt like their main goal was to squeeze as much money out of us as possible. Even a bottle of water during 3 days stay wasn’t complimentary as they ask me to pay for the water bottle until after long argument I ask them a glass of water as I have to take medicine complimentary. No welcoming country and people or Nation.I will never come to as I can for medical reason. This is first time and last time. No coffee or snack or water at up front gallery. We were constantly asked to pay in USD anywhere we go outside and were quoted prices that were 5x higher than normal Mexico currency. The hotel is in a busy area with lots of traffic but the overall atmosphere was cold and opportunistic. It’s clear they see tourists as easy money rather than guests. Avoid this place at all costs. At last we chose to stay in hotel for all day and night to catch our flight next day. I will suggest do not hear what people say it’s nice and pretty As I didn’t see any pretty on nice scene other then bad roads, watery roads which splashing water to the pedestrian.Never even go even if it’s free. I will rather go on the other side of global as I have travelled and it’s a lot to see and very welcoming nation and people especially Middles east, and Asia.
