Antera Hotel & Residences

Antera Suites is marvelously centrally located in downtown Playa del Carmen. It’s a VERY nice hotel, with high-quality amenities and a very friendly and helpful staff. My family’s stay was phenomenal. The rooms very spacious and the suite we got was functional a fully-loaded apartment. The price was a bargain and well-worth it. I wholeheartedly recommend it and would return. Gerardo in customer service was exceptionally superb in clarifying an invoicing issue. Everything is within walking distance and there are good establishments around the hotel.

We got a whole apartment on the residents side of this hotel. We had two bedrooms. One with a jack and Jill bathroom attached and a master bedroom with full bath that included a Jacuzzi tub. There is also an awesome rooftop pool with a hot tub, where you get a beautiful view of the city at night and the ocean during the day. There is full room service as well. If you pay the extra for the included breakfast, you will see that it is delicious. Overall I loved staying at this place!

The staff was amazing. They helped us get different activities and recommendations. I would really recommend going to the bar as the bartender is very nice! The rooms lacked some things in our opinions. There were no salt, pepper, anything to do the dishes with, etc. There were also ants coming from the wall in one room. The dryer made all our clothes smell really bad, and we had to wash them twice to get rid of it. There is some noise from the clubs in the area but not too bad. Rooftop is very nice, there are two, and the one over the reception is the nicest one! Breakfast was okay. It was bare minimum, but it was enough. The nice thing was that we could get it to go for days where we left early in the morning for trips. Would recommend!
