Great 7 night stay. Nice clean rooms. Everything in order. Cooler/ fridge included was a bonus but probably the only thing lacking was a kettle in the room. Missed my Tetley's 😔 Mattress was a little hard (as other reviewers mentioned) but still better than too soft and we were very comfortable in general. Shower was hot and powerful and room service was very attentive. The sauna and jacuzzi were great. There's an indoor and outdoor pool, gym and spa (extra). Games room and kids play area. The bar served only some basic hot food but the service was good. The restaurant was closed when we were there (1st to 8th April) due to staff holidays. Breakfast was ok but not the best value for the price. Parking was free despite what's on paper. Access best via Rue de Peru - Google maps may say otherwise. Great location and we would recommend 👍

Antillia Hotel Review Pros: This hotel is better than its sister hotel (Hotel Ponta Delgada). It's a quiet hotel with clean rooms and no noise heard. Offers beautiful scenery from outside. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of choices. Air conditioning works great and the water pressure is good Overall, I'd stay here again. Cons: The hotel layout is a bit weird; for example, being on the 7th floor required taking two elevators. The receptionist barely spoke English, which made communication difficult. There is no vending machine on the property; two bottles of water were sold for around 4 Euro. Room for Improvement: Consider improving staff English proficiency at the front desk. Add a vending machine or offer more reasonably priced water options. Make it clearer where extra pillows (found in the closet) are located for guests.

We've stayed here a couple of times in the past few years and always loved it. Since we prefer to walk everywhere rather than drive, the central location in the heart of town is a plus, and I find the service rather personal and warm. Our rooms have always been spacious but the thing we love most in the world is their sumptuous buffet breakfast, loaded with fresh fruit, cheese, real yogurt, and so much more. We even pack sandwiches made from the buffet to bring on our long hikes since everything is so fresh. I'll also give a shout out to their excellent spa and beautifully maintained pool and Jacuzzi.
