From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were always friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team made us feel immediately at ease. The service at this hotel is truly impeccable — every request was handled with care and professionalism, and we always felt that the staff went the extra mile to ensure guests were comfortable and satisfied. Whether it was help with directions, local recommendations, or simply a friendly smile at the reception, their hospitality made a real difference. The room was clean, well-organized, and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The common areas were equally well-maintained, and the atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed and welcoming — perfect for travelers of all kinds. Its location in the center of Brussels was also a major plus, giving us easy access to public transport, shops, restaurants, and major attractions. Overall, our experience at a&o Brussels Centre was excellent in every way. We felt cared for and comfortable, and we will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Brussels.
a&o Brussel Centrum is a solid choice for travelers seeking affordable accommodation with convenient access to Brussels’ main attractions. The hotel stands out for its excellent value for money, offering modern rooms, private bathrooms, and comfortable beds without breaking the bank. The location is especially practical—just a short walk from Brussels North train station, making it easy to explore both the city and surrounding regions. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and providing assistance throughout your stay. Many guests highlight the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, as well as the inviting lobby and bar area. The breakfast buffet is a popular option, providing a good start to the day with a variety of choices. Amenities such as 24-hour reception, secure underground parking, and pet-friendly policies add to the convenience. While the neighborhood may feel a bit removed from the city center, the area is generally safe, and public transport connections are excellent. Some minor drawbacks include occasional inconsistencies in room cleaning and basic amenities, and a few guests mention the surrounding area lacks late-night shops or restaurants. However, the overall experience is positive, especially for those prioritizing budget and accessibility. Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers, families, and groups looking for a comfortable and practical base in Brussels!
The hotel looks beautiful from the outside, with a nice garden and well-maintained common areas. However, the room we were given faced an air shaft, offering no view at all. It might have been a great hotel 20–30 years ago, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it today. There was no air conditioning, no toilet paper provided, and the furniture was in very poor condition.
