I had a wonderful, week-long stay at Ao Nang Colors Hotel in Krabi. The hotel and my room were nicely designed, attractively decorated, and comfortable. The location is good, in easy walking distance of both Monkey Beach and Narrap Thara Beach. There are many restaurants and shops on the beaches as well as in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel has a lovely pool large enough for swimming laps. Bo, Fern, Pinkie, and the rest of the hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They patiently answered my questions, assisted me getting transportation to the next stop on my tour of Thailand, and helped me with my beginning Thai. I look forward to returning to Krabi and staying again at Ao Nang Colors Hotel.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The amazing staff was helpful with any requests we had. Within the hotel you can rent a scooter, have your laundry done, book tours, etc. There is also a massage salon which we highly recommend and also a restaurant. The only negative for us was the noisy air conditioning, but it was nothing we couldn't handle. The hotel also lent us beach towels which was great.
I would like to warn everyone about Ao Nang Colors Hotel in Krabi. Our vacation was ruined because of this hotel. Upon arrival, our room looked nothing like the pictures online. The room was small, musty, and clearly had moisture problems with mold on the walls. The air conditioning barely worked and made a deafening noise, making sleep almost impossible. The bed was hard as a rock and the sheets were not fresh. The bathroom was dirty with limescale and hair from previous guests. The reception staff was unfriendly and anything but helpful. When we asked for a different room, we were told the hotel was full, although it looked deserted. The breakfast was very limited and often gone before 9 AM. The pool, which looked fantastic in the photos, was cloudy and had a strange smell. The location is the only positive point, but that absolutely doesn't make staying here worth it. For the same price, you can find much better accommodations in Ao Nang. Absolutely not recommended!
