Ao Prao Resort

We had a great two weeks here in June/July. The beach is lovely with sun beds and soft sand. The staff were always helpful, friendly and welcoming. For example, our daughter was stung by a jelly fish and several staff quickly aided her with vinegar etc. we ate at the restaurant many times and always had good Thai food. It’s more expensive to eat at the restaurant than in the village, but the quality and service is better. The village is a 200 baht taxi ride away. The rooms are always cleaned well and stocked with fresh fruit, coffee and bottled water. No regrets booking this hotel!

This is a perfect place for those who need to relax in tranquility. We came during the rainy season, and the sea was stormy, but we got in the water anyway and enjoyed the warm tides. The staff are very helpful and well-trained. The food is superb! (We ordered traditional Thai food, which is very tasty and not too spicy to handle.) The hotel transportation is easy and fast. I'll definitely come back again during summer (Nov-Apr) when the sea is crystal clear with little waves to do more water activities.

Quiet and relaxing place. I’ve returned to Ao Prao Beach twice because I truly enjoy being here. Overall, I’m happy with my stay — the staff and service in most areas are excellent. However, I was disappointed with the dinner service. There was poor communication from the staff regarding our table reservation. Due to heavy rain, they moved our outdoor reservation indoors, but unfortunately gave us a poor seat where we couldn’t see the fire show. The service attitude during dinner was also not as good as the rest of the resort. I hope the resort will take this feedback into consideration and improve this aspect, as everything else was lovely. I’d be happy to come back again. Keep up the good work!
