Aore Island Resort

Wow! What a find this was. From the very first welcome, which was superb, our stay here was fantastic. The quality, organisation & attention to detail doesn't go un-noticed. The gardens you walk through to your accomodation & the beaches are all very well maintained. 👌🏻 The beach front bungalow was just as described & all we could want. The owners really do care & the staff are just fantastic, I can't praise the staff highly enough, they were so welcoming, friendly & helpful. 👍 To the gents who made my cocktails each evening, you are stars, Michelle, Manson, Rocky & Masio, thank you & I hope to enjoy another Aore Island Ice Tea again soon. 👌🏻👍👌🏻 Now, the food, oh, wow, the staff behind the scenes in the kitchen truely are magicians. The lobster dishes & boy, oh boy, the crab too are some of the best tasting dishes I have ever had. I've eaten all around the globe, in Europe, Asia, Central & Latin America & the food here is as good as some of the best restaurants I've eaten in anywhere 100% 👌🏻 The bungalow was very clean & the daily room service was excellent. We had a fantastic time at Aore Island Resort & would 100% recommend it to anyone. The snorkeling just in front of the resort is good with an abundance of marine life to see. There are paddle boards, kayaks & bicycles free for guests to use. I couldn't fault Aore Island Resort in any way. To the owners & staff, THANK YOU! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice resort. Excellent food, drinks, pool and grounds. Friendly staff. We were on our boat on a mooring so didn’t stay in a room. Make dinner reservations the day before.

Loved or stay here with some caveats. Lovely room, well appointed and private. The private deck overlooking the sea was well used as was the wee beach just in front. The inclusion of a fridge was great to keep a few snacks/drinks in too. Hot water was somewhat sporadic. Food was tasty albeit limited and expensive (neither surprising given the location). Did't use the pool but it looked pleasant. The sea on the other hand was amazing! Warm and teeming with life (lionfish included). Spent hours snorkling. Negative was noise. Some nearby property - everynight - seemed to have a DJ was very loud until 1 or 2am (one night 6am). Another negative which really left a bad taste was the owner talking to friends disparagingly about the reliability of "the locals" A pleasant stay regardless.
