Aos Sí Lodges

We had a great break at Aos Si Lodges. We travelled up to see Oasis in Edinburgh, which was on the same day as the Edinburgh Fringe, so wanted somewhere out of the way in the mountains to escape the madness. Janice allowed us a very late check in as we were due to arrive around 2am (thanks for that!). The lodge was stunning, really well finished with a very comfortable bed. Loved the coffee machine, was simple to use and such a better option than instant coffee, and oat milk in the room was a lovely touch as we are vegan. Amazing location, we arrived in the dark and it was a lovely surprise when we woke to see that we were surrounded by mountains and there is a Loch literally across the road. Would definitely stay again, it’s a great find.

This was undoubtedly a clean, comfortable, and cozy stay, made all the more special by the people. From the moment we arrived, Edward was incredibly warm and welcoming, sharing tips on lesser-known, beautiful spots to explore. Thanks to him, we ended up on a peaceful and scenic hike in Brecklet. Janis and Craig were equally wonderful. When we arrived back to find all the restaurants and shops closed, they generously offered what they had in their kitchen and even baked us fresh croissants. Their kindness truly made our stay unforgettable.

My husband and I stayed in ‘Willow’, one of the gorgeous self contained cabins. Some of the cabins allow dogs, and we had our small dog with us. They provide very cute ‘hamper’ for dogs with treats, bowels, bags, a blanket and towel if needed. The cabin itself is beautiful and really big - roll top bath, all the bits and bobs your need and bathroom. Fluffy towels, soft dressing gowns. We could open the windows and hear the river that runs behind the cabins which was lovely! Really great location just ten mins from the Clachaig and 15-20mins from Glencoe Mountain Resort. The young man who checked us in was very sweet and helpful and we would definitely stay again!x
