This hotel was wonderful! Great service, nice location. Definitely enjoyed our extra day for rest before we continued on the Camino. I would also highly recommend their massage services. I had a hot stone massage both days and they were the best massages I have ever had. I felt relaxed and refreshed after each. A special thank you to Jessica and her staff for an excellent and professional massage experience. If you need a recovery day or just a place to enjoy, here is the place to do it and getting a massage is super helpful too. Thank you again to everyone at the hotel for wonderful service!! 😁

Really nice hotel - walking the Camino, we stayed in one of the suites, with the living area downstairs and the sleeping quarters upstairs. We had a wrap-around balcony (great for drying clothes) and plenty of space for a rest day. The breakfast was pretty good and the location is fantastic. Some minor bumps at check in, thus the slightly lower rating, but otherwise a good stay!

This hotel has many appealing qualities that initially impressed us. The location is good, and the overall ambiance is stylish and upscale. The spa facilities feature a lovely compact area with a pool, whirlpool, sauna, and steam bath. However, several questionable design choices and policies detracted from what could have been an excellent experience: Spa Area Concerns:
The mandatory swim cap requirement for pool use completely killed our enthusiasm for using the facilities. Also bathing caps cost 5€. If you have this policy, hand them out for free. Aside from that, I think that’s an outdated policy, plus other guests went swimming without a cap and nobody said a word. Why having this rule if it’s not enforced? Additionally, there’s only one shower in the spa area that lacks temperature control, forcing guests to use the changing room showers after sauna sessions. These changing room showers don’t even have towel hooks, creating unnecessary inconvenience. Breakfast Experience:
Breakfast was ok but every day pretty much the same and not much variety. The offered “juices” tasted artificial - so I guess it wasn’t real juice but only nectar. While the concept of live music during breakfast is lovely, the piano is positioned too close to the eating area, making conversation difficult due to the volume level. Policy Issues:
Guests aren’t permitted to walk through the hotel in swimwear to reach the spa area, presumably to maintain the upscale atmosphere. While I understand the intent, other higher-end hotels manage this by providing bathrobes - which this property doesn’t offer. Room:
The rooms, while nice and clean, could benefit from more space. The bathroom needs additional towel hooks and storage options. Surprisingly for a hotel in this price category, only instant coffee was available in the room - instead of a proper coffee machine with capsules or such. Staff: Overall the staff was friendly but could be a bit more communicative. This hotel has the bones of a great property, but these addressable issues prevent it from reaching its full potential. With some adjustments, this could easily be a 4-5 star experience.
