Brilliant holiday made amazing by all the fantastic staff, especially Pedro, Johnathan and Sergio in reception. Sonia catering manager went out of her way to look after my special dietary needs ( even on her day off) Barbara in catering made us laugh every meal time and at the bar,and was a complete joy. The four members of the entertainments team Marta, Jojo, Flora and Arthur were such good without being pushy. The apartment was amazing the food was excellent and we look forward to returning next year.
Such an outstanding staff at all levels, loving, caring, genuinely supportive, goes extra mile to help and make the stay comfortable. Our kids and us loved it there. So many dedicated activities, well planned through out the day. Bird show, Reptile show, Belly dancing, kids continuous activities. I must say Flora and Arthur together did an amazing excellent job together to keep families happy with so much energy and passion in them to make it all exciting for kids and parents. Big big thank you to both of them. Marta and Johana are amazing and loving and so dedicated to make it an exciting experience for families. The staff at breakfast and dinner are amazing. The front desk is always available with a big smile on their faces to greet their guests. We have been to so many countries at so many resorts, but AP beach and resort in Faro has something very different and positive about it, so much positive energy from staff. Arthur, Flora, thank you so much for amazing time!
Food quality is really low. Don't expect variety of fish nor meat. You always get the same dishes which after 7 days can be boring. Also everything is pretty much frozen/instant/fast food. Room cleaning is poor, floor was dirty when we arrived and stayed dirty after we asked for cleaning. Our welcome drink was a bottle of water (said by the staff). There is not enough room in the pool area for all the guests. Both English and Portuguese understanding is very low amongst Hotel staff. We decided to leave earlier then expected.
