5 stars – A perfect seaside stay! Hotel Rosa was a lovely place to stay! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming—even those who didn’t speak much English made a real effort to engage, which we really appreciated. The facilities were excellent and everything was clean and well-kept. Best of all, the location was perfect—right by the sea, which made our stay feel truly relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, coastal getaway!
The hotel is old-fashioned, gave us 'The Shining' vibe. Bathrooms are very dated, as are the rooms. The bathroom has a phone in it (????) And a very weird hair dryer. There is a pool there but people tend to put towels on the chairs and then leave all day, that was super annoying. It does have great access to the beach. Basically this hotel is good for an older generation, we felt looked down upon by some the the other guests. Different generations I guess? The staff at the hotel are very friendly and offer great service.
I travel often and always use booking sites with the “pets allowed” filter. I selected this hotel specifically because it showed up as pet-friendly. I even received a confirmation email with check-in instructions from the property, so I assumed everything was in order. After a long drive, I arrived exhausted and just wanted to rest with my dog—only to be greeted by a rude front desk staff member who bluntly told me, “We don’t accept dogs.” He insisted they had messaged me (which I never received) and acted like it was my fault. There was zero warmth or hospitality in how they spoke to me. The man even sarcastically said, “If you can prove we allow pets, you can stay for free,” as if it were a game. That tone alone made it clear I wouldn’t want to stay there anyway. To make matters worse, the property looks nothing like the photos—very misleading. It was rundown, and the energy at the front desk was outright hostile. I ended up finding another place to stay and am so glad I did. This hotel might claim experience, but it certainly lacks professionalism and basic courtesy. If you’re traveling with a pet or value respectful treatment, I highly recommend booking elsewhere.
