Apart Hotel Wasserturm

Perfect location! Beautiful view of the city, a great Italian restaurant nearby, friendly hosts and unique accommodation.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels, but this one was particularly special. It’s not your ordinary hotel and the restoration of this has been made with respect to the heritage of the building. We booked the Areal Apart Hotel Wasserturm in advance for our visit to the Santiano concert, as it's directly across from the Kalkberg Arena and therefore ideally located. We booked a deluxe tower room, which is located on the 5th and 6th levels and has slightly different amenities. We were given the room on the 6th level, at the top of the tower. This room has a second floor with a gallery. Downstairs is the living and sleeping area, while upstairs is a toilet, sink, shower, and a large freestanding bathtub. There are great views in all directions, and you could even listen to the soundcheck before the concert. There are also a bakery and various restaurants nearby, as well as the Noctalis Bat World. There's no traditional breakfast here. You could probably order a small breakfast to be delivered to your room. Alternatively, you can bring your own cold cuts and pick up rolls from the nearby bakery. If you want to have a really special accommodation, this is the right place for you.
