Apartahotel Baldiri

These are short-term stay apartments and not what you'd expect for a hotel. There are no amenities outside of the apartment. It is located in a suburban neighborhood with good access to food and restaurants within a 10-25 min walk. You have access to the Sant Boi R5 train/metro stop that can take you into Barcelona but if you're interested in touristing Barcelona, I'd recommend staying much closer to the city. The R5 can also take you to Montserrat which is a good tourist destination. The apartments are sufficient, clean but a word of caution that when full, it will get noisy.

The employee was very nice. The refrigerator and air conditioning were also good. Only the room was very noisy. We had one in the hallway and we heard people walking and talking very loudly at 2:00 am. Sometimes it seemed like the person was sitting next to you. the room inside has a window but it was closed. You could also hear if someone was showering. maybe invest in soundproofing in the future.

STAY AWAY, INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES AND DAMP!! I recently stayed at Apartahotel Baldiri with my husband and baby and it was, without a doubt, one of the most uncomfortable and unpleasant hotel experiences I've ever had. First and foremost, the room was dirty. With a 1-year-old baby, hygiene is a top priority for us, but we found ourselves having to clean several areas ourselves to make it suitable for our child. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that charges as much as this place does. Additionally, our room had no windows to the outside. The lack of natural light and poor ventilation created an overpowering dampness that was impossible to ignore. This was made worse by the discovery of a cockroach scuttling around the room on our second night—right next to where our baby was sleeping. It’s common knowledge that damp, dirty conditions attract pests, and this hotel seems to have ignored basic cleanliness and maintenance standards. The discomfort didn't end there. The sofa bed was a nightmare. The metal supports protruded painfully, and the mattress was so old and worn that it offered no support or comfort whatsoever. It was nearly impossible to get a decent night's sleep on it. While the staff members we interacted with were friendly and tried to help, their hands were tied. Despite our numerous complaints and the staff's attempts to negotiate on our behalf, management flatly refused to offer any discount or compensation for the myriad problems we faced. In conclusion, this stay was a disaster from start to finish. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for accommodation, even within the same budget range. You're likely to find a much cleaner, more comfortable, and better-managed option nearby. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this hotel.
