Aparthotel Adagio Paris Bercy Village

We have enjoyed our 10 days in Paris. The apartment is very well equipped. Cleaning products, cloths, tea towels, hoover, bin bags etc etc We had a few issues. Toaster kept tripping the fuse and we reported it but the hotel was unable to provide us with a replacement? A basic toaster could have been purchased for €20-40. We pulled some draws out of the room divider and the floor was covered in dirt and parts from the various board games that were in the draws. I reported it and the staff cleaned it immediately. Bedroom 4 had no main ceiling lights and the light switch fell off the wall and the left side of the bed has a double switch that was hanging off. The staff removed the shower door to allow better access into the bathroom for a shower chair to be used. The furniture in the lounge is terrible. The sofa and the armchair are on the floor and very low down. Like large bean bags. Not very comfortable or practical at all. They definitely need replacing to make the apartment better. Generally the apartment was good. Beds are comfy, showers are good and every was well done. The shower door in room had a cracked glass door panel which we reported. The small issues were managed by us.

Location excellent right next to metro station, park and restaurants (Bercy Village). Room size and configuration excellent for families with the option of making two closed rooms. Kitchenette well stocked and useful with small kids. Lots of room for kids to play. HOWEVER: amenities dated and perhaps worn out: dishwasher doesn't clean well, table-top unbolted to legs resulting in tabletop falling, ventilation either too cold or too hot, wildly fluctuating water temperature in the shower from tap cold to boiling hot.

Hotel was not a great experience, stayed 9 nights, literally nothing in bathroom is solid, urine-stained walls, doors to closet not functional, wall plugs are all in poor shape. Not nice ! Generally do not ask too much of a hotel room, but this place seriously lacks pride, maintenance and cleanliness. 250Euro/night is not budget for a place like this. Bercy area, park and village were wonderful and Paris magnificent.
