Overall not a bad stay for the price. Check in service a little slow with only 1 person at the desk from 3pm. Had to set up our sofa bed ourselves, despite booking for a 4 person room. Room was fairly up to date, and modern, although the shower head was broken. The evening receptionist Omar made us feel extremely welcome, providing super friendly and helpful service. He is a great credit to your team!

If I could give this a minus rating for rooms and service I would. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and booked 2 rooms — 402 and 433. Room 402 was fine, but Room 433 had a nasty smell from the start. About an hour after checking in, the ceiling started leaking. When we went to reception, they gave us a mop to clean it ourselves and told us to stay in the room, refusing to change it. Later, after returning from Paris, ceiling tiles actually fell on my son as we walked back into the room. We went to reception again, but were told there were no other rooms available and that we had to continue staying in the same one. Since we had two rooms booked, all four of us ended up sleeping in one room — two kids (10 and 12) and one parent in the bed, and the other adult on the floor using a blanket as a mattress. Each time we went to reception, we were told “the manager isn’t around, so nothing can be done” because the hotel was fully booked. By this point, the smell was unbearable. The staff suggested we check their other branch for availability, and we wasted nearly 2 hours trying to find another hotel, but with no luck. At checkout, I finally spoke to the manager. He refused to refund the full cost, arguing that we had “used the room.” I explained that Room 433 was completely unusable and we had been forced to squeeze four people into one room, but he wouldn’t accept it. Instead, he acted as if he was doing me a favour by refunding just £130 — the cost of one night. This trip was supposed to be a family break in Paris. Instead of enjoying the city, we spent mornings trying to sort out the room situation, constantly told to “wait a few more hours” to see if something could be done. The daytime reception staff were absolutely useless and unhelpful, as everything depended on the manager. And if the manager wasn’t working, you were simply left stranded. If you are staying at this hotel thinking it's cheap and commutable to Paris, think again as while it's cheap(ish) but service, accommodation and quality of the rooms are appaling and it ruined our stay and didn't even get our refund no matter what. I was sleeping on the floor on duvet from the bad room but manager or the staff didn't seem to care. On top of everything the ceiling which fell on my son he was left with a bump and headache for a day or so but manager or the staff didn't seem to care about that as not once we were asked for first aid/doctor etc etc. hope this helps and you think twice before booking your stay. I am hoping someone from Adagio does contact me as we paid for the room which was never used and trauma that we went through. But i doubt that it will happen.

I absolutely do not recommend this hotel! The air conditioning wasn't working, and our room was 31°C (it was 32°C outside, so opening the windows didn’t help at all). After reporting this to the reception and asking for a different room, we were told that it wasn’t possible. They also couldn’t tell us when the AC would be fixed. We were given the manager’s business card and emailed him, but he didn’t even bother to reply. I find this extremely unprofessional. They gave us one small fan that was supposed to cool down two rooms — for two adults and two children. When we asked for another fan because one wasn’t enough, they refused. What frustrates me most is that no one could say when the issue would be resolved. The manager clearly doesn’t care about hotel guests. People pay a lot of money to stay in this hotel, but when problems arise, you're left to deal with them on your own.
