Spacious apartments with everything that you need. It’s perfect for a short stay. We visited with a 19 months old and the hotel was very accommodating providing a cot and a bath for her which was very helpful. The breakfast is good with a large choice of sweet and savoury items. Great amenities (pools, gym, little play area for kids etc…). It is a bit out of the city however, it is convenient even without a car as you have a bus stop right by the hotel that takes you to the city centre within 15/20 minutes.
Our room smelled like an ashtray when we arrived. Especially the toilet, I felt like throwing up if I needed to use it. They didn’t have another room to change at the time, but also I didn’t feel that they would try anything to make it up for us! To change it the next day was too late anyway. Also there was dirt on the floor by the elevator. That was there for three days! Last morning we asked the lady upfront if the breakfast was included, she said yes but then later she came after us to our car, that we should pay for it! Altogether this last scene left a bitter taste in my mouth!
We (two couples) decided to spend our holidays with friends. Initially, we were impressed upon arrival, but things quickly turned into a nightmare. Our room’s bathroom ceiling had a persistent leak that dripped for hours. The situation worsened by the next morning, as I woke up at 8 a.m. to find the leak had become even more severe. The pool was another disappointment - dirty with visible hair and debris floating around. The jacuzzi wasn’t functioning properly either. On top of that, some guests were openly flouting basic hygiene rules, such as bathing with their long hair down as if they were at home, which made the experience unpleasant for others who followed the rules. When we complained about the room, the staff member dismissively told us, “I can’t give you a room,” with no effort to assist. It felt as though he had already decided we didn’t qualify for an upgrade or alternative accommodation, possibly due to where we come from. As someone who has traveled extensively across France, and in the EU in general, I’ve never encountered such poor hospitality or treatment. Regarding the swimming pool, the staff explained that “we don’t have rules because people come here to relax.” But doesn’t that apply to everyone? Aren’t we also here on holiday? Their pool table is btw broken, is slanting to one side and has a lot of dust. Vacuuming it takes a minute. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Our experience here was truly horrible, and it left us extremely disappointed.
