Aparthotel Autosole Riga

I don't know who rates this hotel, but this was the worst hotel I've ever stay at. It is NOT a 4 star, a 2 star at best. My vacation was ruined because of staying at this terrible place. The room was cramped and very dark, on the first floor like a dungeon with a view on metal bars, a construction zone on the side walk, and a cemetery across the street. The sheets and the overall bedding were of the lowest quality, the furniture was worse than motel 6, cheep plastic. TV was 19" at best - more of an outdated computer screen - with three channels that most of the times didn't work and a damaged wall all around it. The bathroom was moldy and dirty, drainage didn't work well, resulting in moldy water all over the feet. The walls and the ceilings were paper thin, we could hear people walk and talk constantly. Reception staff was very rude, and in fact never on site - the entire time we only saw them once when we checked in. The room was NOT cleaned once during our entire three day stay. The location was absolutely terrible on the outskirts of the town, 20 min tram ride from the center unlike advertised, the neighborhood was very depressing, sleepy, and filled with construction work, grafitti and dilapidated buildings. In the morning we couldn't arrange a taxi pick up because no-one was ever at the front desk. Consequently we almost missed our flight because we couldn't call and order a taxi nor could we just catch a cab outside on the street because it is so far from the center where no taxis ever go to unless called and arranged. I hated these accommodations, and the entire time I just wanted to get out of there. Overall this was the worst stay and I highly HIGHLY discourage you from staying in this hole of a place.

Misquitoes in the room, not possible to sleep at night. No breakfeast possible.
