Aparthotel Isola

The room was fantastic and very comfortable. When we arrived on the first day, we were greeted with snacks for breakfast, a bottle of water, and juices—such a thoughtful welcome! The space was cozy and inviting, especially the sitting area and the kitchen, which was fully equipped with everything we needed. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a huge plus given the extreme heat in Milan. The view from the room was stunning—you could see the skyscrapers in the distance. The location is excellent, with the tram stop literally right outside the building. The metro station was only a 5–6 minute walk away, and the bus stop even closer. Getting around was incredibly easy, and the public transportation in Milan is top-notch. The apartment was spotless. During our four-day stay, housekeeping cleaned once the room and took care of everything, including the trash and linens. The flat felt very secure—we had to unlock three doors to reach the apartment (the main entrance and two more on the fifth floor). There were supermarkets just steps away, including Carrefour (24hr) and Aldi, plus a clothing store nearby, which was very convenient. The only downsides were that a) the fridge wasn’t very powerful—it felt more like a cool cabinet. It would be fine for a winter visit, but during the heatwave we experienced, we couldn’t keep our water very cold. That was really one issue and b) The other thing I’d note is that I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable walking alone in the neighborhood late at night. Oh! More +++: a) the espresso machine made an incredibly delicious coffee! b) Communication with the owner through WhatsApp was fast and very efficient—we got quick responses anytime we needed something, which made everything smoother c) wifi excellent All in all, I definitely recommend this lovely place to stay in Milan❤️

If one word describes this place best it's...SUPER. Perfect on our books. We simply loved it. A spacious and well appointed apartment, very clean and well set up. A lot of nice touches that I did not expect and i have hardly seen in full size hotels. From breakfast nibbles laid out, to a fridge stocked with welcome beverages. Very thoughtful. The staff was exceedingly nice and helpful, there is a secure parking garage right under the building (paid for, but reasonable priced). And finally great location. Metro and tram stops on the next street corner (a tram ride to the dome square takes about 25 minutes) , many small restaurants and take away food places close by, a big supermarket right in front of the house and if that's not enough, car access from the ring road was super easy. Isola deserves the high ratings it has. I hope we will have a chance to go back, thank you for the great stay.

The owner was extremely rude and greedy, totally unacceptable! Location not easy to find. Intercom not working. Also if you arrive right at midnight in the dark, then he charges you €50 extra. He said that you either pay for it or get out of there, despite room was already paid upfront. What a bully!! It’s one apartment turned into several small rooms, so you can hear everybody next door. In addition, enjoy the tram line right outside your door and good luck with you sleep. Basically, a great choice for people who love dealing with a rude host and sleeping in loud n noisy environment.
