We enjoyed our stay very much. The service ladies were friendly and understanding. Tiny rooms, but with a/c& heating. Wifi free. Breakfast was pretty tasty.
Cute and clean, but not the place to stay in summer. No air conditioning and very poor ventilation from a single window that opens a few cm only. Must have been 40 degrees in the room. (The property should have at least put a fan in each room, but no.) And opening the window to get any air lets in the constant noise from the busy road the hotel is directly in front of. If you want to sleep, and it’s summer, this is not the hotel to choose. On a positive note, there are many options for food within a 5-minute walk.
How was our stay?....non existent. We found the hotel via booking.com. We called directly to confirm early hours check in and were encouraged to book direct with the hotel, not booking.com which foolishly, we did. After travelling for 12 hrs, the final leg, a 2.5 hour drive, we arrived at just before 4am on 16th April. On arrival, we entered the property using the door pin provided, and proceeded to check in electronically with the code provided...it didn't work...despite numerous attempts and phone calls, no success. We were left to fend for ourselves. The following day, we contacted the hotel, who took no responsibility for the issue, in fact, suggested that there was not evidence of us being there (apart off course the security cameras showing us in the reception area and a photo of the check in screen showing the code provided, date, time and location stamped in the early hours). We offered to meet the next day to provide the evidence in question. The hotels response was that they could see no reason to meet! Not only the manager couldn't see any reason to meet, the owner suggested there was an IT issue which they couldn't source, and also took no responsibility for the lack of service. So, I'm sure the hotel is lovely should you be given the pleasure and privilege of getting into the room that you booked. Customer service at its poorest...
