Aparthotel Neumarkt

We were in Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria for 3 weeks and stayed at many great places, but this apartment in Dresden was best by far! Huge multi level apartment that was fully appointed and furnished. Everything was 5 star. Location right on the main square with views of the cathedral. Convenient underground parking. Everything was perfect!

Although I updated in advance by email that I will arrive at 22:00, the host forgot to let me know that the reception is open until 19:00. I needed to call them to find a solution. Everything else was great. Big rooms, winning location and nice staff.

I recently stayed at this accommodation in Dresden and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was great, the rooms were clean, and having a washing machine in the room was a fantastic convenience. However, there were some drawbacks. The rooms were extremely hot in the summer due to poor ventilation, making it uncomfortable to stay in. Additionally, the washing machine was not accompanied by a sample detergent, which would have been helpful for short-term tourists like myself who don't want to buy a whole detergent. The bed also lacked fitted sheets, which was a minor inconvenience. Furthermore, the WiFi connection was extremely poor and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected or get work done. This was a significant issue for me, and I hope they improve their internet connectivity. Lastly, the office hours were limited until 7 pm, which could be a problem if you lose your keys or need assistance later in the evening. Overall, it was an average stay, and with a few improvements (ventilation, detergent samples, fitted sheets, reliable WiFi, and extended office hours), it could be even better.
