So much attention to details without becoming overloaded. You feel like a medieval knight or maiden in this house. Great breakfast, no restaurant. Very friendly hosts. We love it here!
A truly magical stay at Schloss Thannegg! The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The castle is stunning, with a wonderful atmosphere. Minor issue: water pressure in the bathroom could be better, but overall, highly recommend for an unforgettable getaway!
"LOVE LOVE LOVE!" An enchanting castle and a more than lovely family who own and manage the property. I so enjoyed my visit with them. A perfect location to use as a base camp to explore the region. Delicious food and terrific customer service. A very picturesque region of Austria where the castle is situated in a beautiful valley in the Austrian Alps!! The food was delicious and traditional; you MUST paraglide with the Sky Club Austria - what an outstanding experience! This is a castle was built in the 1100's so no elevators. The rooms are very comfortable with traditional eiderdown bedding. The bar is in the dungeon as is the sauna/spa.
