It’s a nice place to stay. In middle of old town and gives you the glimpse of history and culture of Switzerland. Many places nearby to eat and shop. Staff is very friendly and attentive.
Very good location! staff are nice and rooms are clean. downsides are the fact receiption is only at there only on Tuesday morning and Friday morning... and they clean the room only once a week and change the towels once a week as well
For context, I lived here for 11 months. Good things: 1-2 min walking distance from lots of nice bars, restaurants, grocery store, and tram stop. Perfect location Serviced apartment with weekly cleaning services Not-so-good things (for long term stay): - Delivery vehicles have restricted access to this area of the city. Good luck getting your Amazon order - No personal mailboxes - 25 chf fee for overnight guests (e.g. family visits). Bear in mind that I lived here for 11 months and had a rental contract as a legal resident of Basel (I paid cantonal tax, and I was not a hotel guest nor a tourist). This was not mentioned in the rental contract. I contacted the Basel Tenants’ (Mieterverband) Association for legal support. If you are a tenant here dealing with unfair practices from the management, I would highly recommend the Mieterverband
