Apenunga Eco Hotel

Excellent service and a wonderful experience. Apenunga offers the complete package for your vacation or business trip by meshing luxury accommodations/facilities with fantastic customer service. The staff go above and beyond to ensure comfortability and care. This hotel offers a one-of-a-kind view and location within Jericoacoara. Tucked off to the side of town, you have access to a more secluded beach area and beautiful scenery if you utilize the nearby hill trails. The restaurant, bar, and included breakfast offer fantastic options. This is what true hospitality looks like!

I've been to quite a few hotels all over the world including some rated amongst the best in the world. Now everything is a combination of price, location, facilities, service and quality of food. Well, the Apenunga than lands in my top 3. The location is amazing with a breathtaking sundown every day. All staf, reception, cleaning, waiters are extremely friendly and efficient. The pool with the pool bar is beautiful and very long (about 40 meters), so you can actually swim in it. Food and drinks, I cannot fault. When you go to Jeri, it is THE place to be.

From the min we arrived, we were welcomed with pleasure from a bellman who waiting for us 30 feet away from the hotel on the street to help us with our bags. We were reveuved with coconut water The hotel is well located ocean front and a block from the main street away from the loud music. The breakfast buffet was top notch with a variety of fruits and a la carte menu. They even have non lactose milk which i needed it. And each day they surprised you with different desserts, breaks etc. The rooms are lovely with confy beds and good shower Heads with warm/hot water. We started in room 161 with a big balcony allowed us appreciate the panoramic sunset views the week we stayed there. Everyday was a "wow" sunset from our balcony or from the pool. The best thing was the service from all the employees working there. Starting from the front desk with Sofia and Ana who are lovely and professional and who will over the mile to make sure we had a pleasurable stay. At 4:40pm they have coffe snacks by the pool and at 6pm they come by your room with sweets and note to wish you a good rest. This is every evening. (Little details like this go a long way. Daniel, one of the employees that helped with the 4:40pm snacked surprised me with non lactose milk (even thought is not expected) since he learned I was lactose intolerant. Awesome gesture. I highly recommend this hotel and will def come back. Thank you Apenunga and team.
