Aplend Hotel Ovruč

I am writing to provide feedback on our recent stay at this hotel. Although we encountered some issues in the room, I am pleased to report that they were resolved efficiently and without any major problems. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, and we appreciated the modern, clean, and comfortable facilities. The beds were particularly comfortable, and the breakfast selection was excellent. However, we did encounter some difficulties with the air conditioning in our room, which was not clearly explained, didn’t have instructions. As a result, the room was warmer than we would have liked. To improve the guest experience, it would be helpful to provide clear instructions on how to operate the air conditioning units in the bedrooms. Additionally, we found the communal areas to be somewhat warm, and increased use of air conditioning in these spaces would be beneficial. In terms of amenities, we noticed that the shower floor was quite slippery, and it would be a good idea to install a bathroom mat to ensure guest safety, particularly for children and older adults. Furthermore, we would like to suggest creating a designated play area for children in the restaurant, similar to the one in the cafe, which our 6-year-old thoroughly enjoyed. Alternatively, providing a drawing book or activity for children to engage in while their parents dine would be a welcome addition.Despite these suggestions, we were thoroughly impressed with our stay and look forward to returning for a longer period in the future.🤩👍

Really nice hotel with large rooms and great facilities. The room was very clean and we had a big balcony overlooking the mountains. Spa was also very nice and well maintained. The staff were excellent as well, especially Lily who was very attentive and hospitable - she made our stay!

very nice accomodation, kitchen well equipped, kettle, silverware, all you need. if you want to cook for yourself take your own seasoning. if you come with a child they provide for free chair and children bathtub however for a cot you have to pay 15€ for you stay which is very unusual. They give you 5€ voucher that you can use in the restaurant that is on the lower floor which is nice. And they also have special offer for some of the chosen restaurants and one coffee place. In the lobby is a little children playing space which was handy too. Overall happy to be back, we have stayed here last year. It’s close to the train and walks nearby. On TV there is netflix and Youtube which is great too.
