Apparthotel Sonne

We stayed in this Aparthotel with our family (2 adults, 2 children) for our ski holiday. We had a very good time here: the panorama apartment was well equipped, comfortable and clean. Our kids enjoyed their own bedroom. The ski school was only a few minutes away by car, as were the restaurants and supermarket. We used the hotel's free shuttle service once, which was excellent, but preferred to use our own car. We also booked the daily breakfast. We'd recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Die Sonne! The warm, family atmosphere and cozy ambiance made it feel like a home away from home. The owners were absolutely amazing—kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Thank you Goran for every day help with transport. We truly felt cared for throughout our visit. It’s a place full of charm, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

First time in Obertauern and the first time using an aparthotel over a hotel. What a fantastic choice! We choose this aparthotel based on the location, pictures and reviews, we are a family of 4 (with twins of 21 years) so we were after flexibility, space, a bit of luxury comfort and some Après ski but not right on our doorstep. Die Sonne gave us all of this plus more. From arriving and having a secure parking space in a garage, and although arriving late we were greeted by Rosemary who was super friendly and proud to show us around our beautiful apartment. Our 2 bed apartment was spacious, modern, bright, exceptionally clean and really well thought out, our own sauna was a great added extra and we made use of it everyday! The Beds!! The most comfortable mattress, fresh white sheets, puffy duvets and pillows! Smart Tv's in every room, ideal for a movie night, we snuggled up in the sofa window with our duvets overlooking the white mountains. We booked in for breakfast on our first morning for convenience and the food was fresh, really good selection of everything! Eggs of any kind made to order. Now onto the staff, they were all fantastic! Rosemarie, was incredibly welcoming and obviously very proud of the establishment. Monika on reception was perfect! smiley, complimentary and made us feel like we were super special guests and could not do enough for us! The shuttle bus service is a brilliant free addition, made all the better with Goran the driver, with his smiley personality and never ending sense of humour!!! I could not recommend this place enough, We will definitely be back!!!!
