Apple A Day Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach

this hotel has underlying sense of just being dirty. the pictures they have are very good but do not represent the actual state of the hotel. there was hair on the sheets and cockroaches on the desk. we arrived in late the afternoon and were very tired and tried to take a nap but there was construction happening in the next room which was so noisy and awful when you’re just trying to rest. besides being cold the food had the same sense of uncleanliness so much so that after paying to eat we only ate cereal and had a coffee. the price definitely did not reflect what you could get for similar pricing around. will not be coming back and will mot be recommending this place. only saving grace is a decent location.

Don't know why this is a 4 star hotel. They charged 50 baht for asking for extra white towels. They only gave us 2.. also 100 baht for an extra key card, they only gave us 1.. towels also look old and worn. Sheets also look worn and old. Housekeepers kept leaving the door open when cleaning rooms so mosquitos kept flying in. We couldn't kill them so they just kept biting at night. At least they have a beach caddy and umbrellas and beach towels for use. But for the price we paid, won't be staying here again.

First time in Ao Nang for our family. I’m sorry 😞 but this has to be one of my top 2 TERRIBLE hotel in Thailand that I have ever stayed in. I’m still currently here as I have already paid up. The amenities is very old and need upgrading. I can see all the old dirty hair lodge inside the pipes whilst I’m brushing my teeth. Cleaners needs to be more diligent on their duty. 2 days in a row I had to ring for toilet paper. Today I called for towels! I’ve been here 4 days only to find out that I’m supposed to be getting face washer. The bath towels are very old and some are stained but clean. Management really needs to look in to how the cleaners do their jobs. Small details goes a very long way. Lids to bin, mirrors etc. They don’t allow you extra key for your room. So you have to take the one and only card with you. The card operates the electricity in your room so without it your air conditioning won’t work. It is a stuffy and HOT by the time you come back from your tours. one more thing… I had a fever from the flu couple days ago so I requested an extra blanket. They said it will cost me extra 100 baht for it. What???? Why?? All hotels have extra blankets in the cupboard for you to use. I have stayed in ALOT of hotels. Never have I ever heard of a blanket surcharge. Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. 🏨
